What an exciting main card for UFC327, definitely had some unexpected entertainment and results as we lead into some massive cards for the year.

UFC is doing a great job of keeping these cards exciting. Read on for a quick roundup, some comments on the new site as well as, most importantly the winners of FR18.

UFC327 - Round Up

Coming into UFC327 i was quite surprised by some of the matchups, i was really looking forward to seeing Van v Taira but i think we go the entertainment we wanted in the end. One of the most surprising things about this card was seeing the spread of fighters across the early prelims and the prelim card, Gastelum and Luqe onearly Prelim!? Suarez, Gamrot, Holland and Pitbull on the Prelim Card!? Insanity, I've read rumors that UFC is looking to make some of these other cards and fight nights more compelling and it looks to me like they are doing exactly that!

Main card kicked off with Swanson vs Landwehr for a phenomenal ending to Swanson's massive career. Landwehr always takes a bit of damage and coming of 2 KO losses Swanson took advantage and dominated with a first round, very well deserved KO.

I think a lot of us were looking forward to Reyes Walker, but unfortunately it turned into a bit of a snooze fest that could of gone either way. I was expecting a bit more urgency from Reyes, but i feel like neither was really willing to put themselves out there, most likely out of respect for the others power, but unfortunately that wasn't the excitement any of us were looking for when Reyes took out an arguable decision.

We did get what we were looking for in the next fight, arguably made up for the previous one with what could be one of the most entertaining fights I've seen for a long time. Not the most technical, but man the heart of both of these fighters. I think UFC has a new most entertaining heavyweight with Hokit who proved he has the determination and skill to take it to the next level. Can't count Blaydes out though, he was an absolute warrior making it to the end of that fight, ultimately losing by Decision to Hokit. I've heard Hokit and Lewis are schedule for freedom so thats going to be pretty bloody exciting

Onto Azamat v Costa - Man, Azamat has had a run and a lot of people thought he would have a relatively easy run against Costa. Costa on the other hand proved that he is still developing as a fighter. From early Costa was having some success with that right kick which ultimately got him a KO finish in the 3rd handing Azamat his first loss in the UFC!

And then the title! Got off to a cracker start, both fighters having some success. Looked like Jiri had it in the bag when Ulberg popped his back knee and then out of nowhere, a devastating left hook which dropped Jiri, Ulberg summoning the heart to follow up with some ground and pound securing him the title with a KO in the first. I didn't like the fact that Jiri claimed he became hesitant when Ulberg's knee went. The truth is Jiri probably could of backed off and won the fight, but in true Jiri style he threw caution to the wind and paid the ultimate price! Well done to Ulberg, well deserved! Looking forward to seeing his future fights thats for sure!

New Fight Realm UI

For the new Realmers you may not know but we just overwent a massive site facelift as we prepare to release new features! And for the OG Realmers we hope it wasn't too much of a shock!

You may have noticed a few bugs around the place, rest assured the FR team is on the case, they have been identified and addressed for the most part! We appreciate you staying the course and stick around as more and more features get release.

For those that haven't had a chance to get full across everything make sure you explore the site and checkout:

1. Groups- Make groups with your friends, get a private leaderboard, subscribe for a private chat and a private message board. Best of all we will soon have group to group competitions with exciting prizes from the entire team!
2. Message Board - A sitewide message board is live and we will look to keep conversations going around upcoming events, competitions, analysis and more. Would love you to get involved so head over and help get the conversation started!
3. Live Chat - v1 of the live chat is up and running. For subscribing groups your group will have a private live chat for all of your members, for subscribing members you can DM and chat with other Realmers. We will keep developing on this over the coming weeks and this will be a lot more accessible on the app coming soon!
4. Subscriptions- We have to keep the Realm growing and subscriptions are going to help us put up bigger prizes, release more features and make the viewing experience for Fight Sports THAT much better. FR18 - Winners

Results are in people! Was a bit of a tricky one to pick with a few unpredictable fights up there!

Quick note on the leaderboard, we identified that the trends are a bit off, so refer to the screens below for the progression!

Coming into the bonuses, we had an almost completely new top 10 roster except for Eugisdabest (#7 all time Realmer) which is awesome to see!

Only one in the top 10 chose Hokit to get a PB with Zoltan increasing his score but not his position maintaing 7th into the 2nd Bonus.

The Ulberg PB progressed Eugisdabest into 2nd Place, sending Brather into 3rd.

And finally out of nowhere, only one Realmer in the top 10 - Jonesy - Picked Hokit to get FON propelling him up into 2nd Place, sending almost the entire leaderboard down a spot with the final 4 places and our official winners:
