A much anticipated rematch ended in a bit of controversy with McGregor, well, McGregoring us with a quick finish - Just not the way we expected! Unfortunately while we all wanted to see two wars with the Main and the Co-Main after the long wait we only got 2 minutes and 1 second of main event action. A bit disappointing to say the least.

First fight of the main card Green vs Mckinney, great start, McKinney was on fire but if you were like me you were probably wondering why he didn't keep it standing he seemed to be dominating, crazy IMO that the ref called it at 4:59 - eager to hear your thoughts.

Royval Kavanagh was an epic war with both having their time in the sun, Royval showed his experience with a well deserved win, i think we can expect to see some big things from Kavanagh in the future, so not writing him off just yet.

Sandhagen vs Bautista was a war but again fair result. I actually switched my pick from Dec to Sub to my own demise, but was a great fight to watch. I was expecting Sandhagen to fare a little better than he did but i think that that sub attempt from Bautista in the first may have messed with Sandhagen's ability in subsequent rounds. Mario definitely won some fans here & hoping we see Sandhagen bounce back, because he is always exciting to watch!

When it came to BSD vs Pimblett i was very surprised to PaddyP dominate BSD so hard. BSD has 11 Sub wins on his record and is dominant in that space and seems to have fallen to a rooky error giving his neck so early, but Pimblett did capitalise on it like no one else, well deserved win - however i was looking forward to seeing if Pimblett had worked on some of the gaps in his standup. I guess we will have to wait and see.

And McGregor, Dayum! Wild over extension! He did not look himself when we walked into the octagon, not jumping on any conspiracy trains but he seemed nervous and heavy. Holloway entered on fire and Connor just didn't seem to have the same fire and then he put his rusty limbs to the test and they simply failed - As a 37 year old myself the body isn't what it used to be, i think we could have seen the end of Connor - Shame because i was looking forward to an exciting come back, but it was a a disappointing end to the card having many of us questioning if UFC was favouring money over fight quality.

Fight Realm Updates

Realmers!! We have been working tirelessly behind the scenes, updating UI, building and releasing features, we should be finishing up the bulk of it soon and then we are going to focus on making sure everyone can find them properly. If you haven't noticed, here are some of the major updates from the last month! Eager to get your feedback so make sure you let us know!

• Apps Delivered on IOS and Android, fully featured with In App Purchases (If you want to subscribe, win bonuses and support Fight Realm) - This was a massive effort and heaps excited to see people starting to use it
• Feed and Notifications - Making sure you can see if you were messaged, new people joined your group, upcoming events or responses to your comments
• Private Prize Pools - If you have a group & have a subscription attached to your group, you can now set private prize pools for you and your mates per competition
• Update to leaderboard filters - These have been tricky to make user friendly, work in progress but definitely getting there
• Video Posts onto the message boards - Users can now post videos on the message boards
• Polls on message board
• Bonuses on the leaderboards - Now easier to see who received what bonuses on their picks on the leaderboards

What's coming

Before the next main event we are hoping to release a bunch more features, the main ones to look out for:

• Performance Dashboard - Track your performance and areas for improvement
• Profile Page - Show all of your posts, your performance as well as your trophy cabinet
• Content Publishing - Helping users grow their profiles across the realm and beyond
• New Realm Prizes - More ways to earn realm points as we start to create realm competitions for users that contribute to promoting and engaging in the Fight Realm

Following that - The main feature set will be complete and we will start focussing on our ability to get fight nights happening, culminating in some exciting news about the future format of competitions!

We had an absolute killer comp with the most picks made in recent comps with 606 totals picks made! As this number starts to approach 1000 we will start awarding more placed on the leaderboard so make sure you make your groups and invite your friends!

So many new faces on the board, the all time OGs barely made an appearance in the top 50! I see Patototo (#3 all time) in position 11 and Ronda Rousey (#27) in 25 and MickChrys (#17) - otherwise we did not hold our own!! Looks like some all timers are going to start facing some heavy competition!

We had 189 groups that made picks! We don't have official group prizes yet, but they are coming... Very soon. Just a reminder your groups score is made up of the top 7 scoring users in your group, so to be competitive you need to try get to 7, but for some subs in your group better to go over and above. We are working day and night to keep Fight Realm growing, we have a little time before UFC 330 so hopefully we can get all of our features out and start focusing on getting these fight nights going. UFC 330 is on t he 16th of August, being headlined by Mackachev and Garry - That should be awesome! Lets see what the final card ends up being.
