Anticipation for the UFC Freedom 250 card at the White House is growing by the day, with the four men involved in the two title fights recently being invited to the Oval Office to meet with President Donald Trump. While Ilia Topuria, Justin Gaethje, Alex Pereira, and Ciryl Gane were all posing for pictures with Trump for the media, a special commemorative UFC belt was displayed on Trump's desk to celebrate the occasion.

At UFC Freedom 250, there will be two of those title belts as UFC CEO Dana White confirmed during the special press conference on May 8 to promote the event that the title fans saw in Trump's office will be the title awarded to the winners of the two title fights. However, when asked if Trump himself will be the one to wrap the special titles around the winner's waists, White stated that he does not know about that quite yet.

How to Get In: Seven Figures or Presidential Approval

A seven-figure sponsorship package is reportedly the best way to guarantee a seat at the Ultimate Fighting Championship bout next month at the White House. Reports suggest such packages can cost up to $1.5 million and are considered a kind of de facto political contribution in support of the president.

"The Trump fundraising team is raising money for it," a Republican lobbyist told NBC News. "It's basically been added to the list of approved entities to give undisclosed money to and get credit with Trump."

"They are raising a shit ton of money and have used it as another unofficial vehicle for corporate donors to give and gain favor with Trump," the lobbyist added.

What the Sponsorship Packages Include

"This is the offer: UFC Freedom 250, a partner welcome reception, press conference reserved seating, ceremonial weigh-ins, general admission access, Zak Brown concert access, UFC 329 floor tickets, and WWE event integration ring signage," MMA journalist Ariel Helwani told the BBC of the reported packages on offer. "It's a deck being sent out to a lot of influential people, high rollers."

Tight Control Over the Guest List

The president and UFC leadership are tightly controlling who gets access to the 4,000-strong crowd that will be assembled on the South Lawn for the president's birthday brawl.

The fighting league has raffled off some free tickets, while the president has 1,000 to hand out personally. UFC leadership has another 400, and the remaining tickets are going to different branches of the military, White said last week on CBS Mornings.

"I get calls, texts or emails every day, a few times every day," White House communications director Steven Cheung told NBC News of people eager for tickets.

Preparing for the First Outdoor UFC Event

A lot of preparation is going into the event, to the point where White recently revealed that the UFC will be working with the United States military so they know the weather reports for the day. UFC Freedom 250 will be the first US-based outdoor show the company has produced, meaning that the event might be at the mercy of mother nature. White confirmed that outside of a lightning storm, nothing will stop the show from taking place.

Free Watch Party Available

For those who want to attend the event but cannot secure tickets, a free watch party will take place at The Ellipse across the street from the White House. Despite the event at The Ellipse being free, fans will still have to sign up to register their interest ahead of time.

Fans can watch the fight, part of the president's suite of events for the 250th anniversary of American independence, on screens from just outside the White House at the Ellipse park.

The event will feature an open-air stadium, complete with the UFC's signature octagon arena and an arch extending over the fighting ring, according to renderings. The fighting league is footing the costs for the event. The president regularly attends UFC fights, and White is a strong Trump supporter.
