O'Malley Rips Freedom 250 Fight Kits: White Shorts Are Ugly, But "I'll Make My Hair Pink"
Sean O'Malley will be forced to compete in his "ugly" fight kit as part of the upcoming "Freedom 250" event.

Sean O'Malley will be forced to compete in his UFC White House fight kit when he battles Aiemann Zahabi as part of the upcoming "Freedom 250" MMA event on June 14 in Washington, D.C.
The promotion recently unveiled the chosen colors for the landmark event, and "Suga," known for his eclectic style, is not a fan of the "ugly" shorts he will be repping against the No. 6-ranked Canadian.
"They're Ugly"
"I don't know if I'm even supposed to say this, but they're ugly," the former UFC bantamweight champion said on YouTube. "Mine were ugly. I don't like them. They're not pink, which is fine, whatever. I wore other colors. I'm not gonna not show up because my shorts aren't pink. I'll make my fucking hair pink, whatever."
O'Malley questioned the effort put into the design process.
"But I'm just like β¦ did they go on Fiverr and say, 'Hey, you know, we got these guys getting into a fight on the White House Lawn? Can you just come up with something?' When I was wearing them, they're white, which is whatever. I mean, I love white, Dana White, you know, soy blanca. I just, I didn't love them."
Making the Best of It
Despite his disappointment, O'Malley found a silver lining in the white shorts.
"I will say, I like the white, because I do truly believe I'm gonna crack Aiemann," the 31-year-old continued. "I'm gonna bloody his nose. I think I'm gonna hit him a lot. I think he's gonna be very tough, I think he's gonna be very durable. I think I'm gonna beat the fuck out of him, kind of like Kris Moutinho-esque, but I'm also a lot better than I was back then.
"So I believe I'm gonna finish him, but I'm excited for my white shorts to be red. Like, I want to see how red I can get my white shorts from his blood. That is kind of cool, but overall, didn't fucking love 'em."
Special Kits for Landmark Event
UFC Freedom 250 is a one-of-a-kind card that will go down at the White House on June 14. The card, which is a celebration of America's 250th year of independence, also coincides with President Donald Trump's birthday. To match the occasion, special fight kits have been designed in red, white and blue colors, featuring the official White House logo.
O'Malley vs. Zahabi
O'Malley (19-3) takes on Aiemann Zahabi (14-2) at Freedom Fights 250. "Suga" is coming off a decision win over Yadong Song that saw him rebound from back-to-back title losses against Merab Dvalishvili. Meanwhile, Canada's Zahabi is on a seven-fight winning streak.
Keep competing
