The 2020 Olympic gold medalist will make his second appearance under the UFC banner when he collides with Sean Sharaf as part of UFC 331, set for Sat., Sept. 19, 2026 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California.

Steveson is 4-0 in MMA with four straight knockouts and will not be tested for his sophomore effort. Sharaf (4-2) has only competed twice since he signed with UFC in late 2024 and got knocked out both times, first by Junior Tafa and then again by Steven Asplund.

Also joining the UFC 331 lineup is Robelis Despaigne (6-2), who is making his second run in the UFC heavyweight division after his initial effort fell flat. The 2012 Olympic bronze medalist has been paired with Australian fan favorite Tai Tuivasa (14-10), who has lost seven straight fights.

UFC 331 will also feature the previously reported rematch between Brian Ortega and Renato Moicano. Elsewhere on the card, Arman Tsarukyan and Charles Oliveira are expected to run it back. Ryan Gandra and Osman Diaz are scheduled to hook 'em up in middleweight action.

Keep competing
