"So What? I Was Drinking": Josh Hokit Pretends to Vomit at UFC White House Weigh-In

Josh Hokit stole the show at the Saturday morning weigh-in for UFC Freedom 250.

Josh Hokit stole the show at the Saturday morning weigh-in for UFC Freedom 250, having done the same at Friday's press conference. The heavyweight pretended to throw up, dribbling a sick-colored liquid from his mouth as he stepped on the scales.

"So what? Maybe I was drinking last night," Hokit told the room. "Who wouldn't be?

"I've got a giant man who wants to knock me out. He has the most knockouts in UFC history," Hokit added, referencing opponent Derrick Lewis.

The Act

Hokit appeared to be on unsteady legs as he walked into the room, took to the scale, and exited. It seemed to be part of his act. The 28-year-old has made a name for himself by playing different characters, recently referencing "The Incredible Hoke" while speaking nervously about all the fighters at the event.

Crossing the Line?

On Friday, Hokit's behavior culminated in him referencing the recent divorce of main-event fighter Ilia Topuria. White immediately ended the press conference after that insult. At a launch press conference in May, Hokit had insulted Topuria and Alex Pereira and was escorted off stage by security.

The Context

Hokit vs. Lewis was added to UFC Freedom 250 at the request of Donald Trump. The President watched from cageside in April as Hokit won an instant classic with Curtis Blaydes. By the end of the night, Dana White had paired Hokit with Lewis, who is Trump's favorite fighter.

Lewis, 41, tipped the scales at 265lb and enters as the betting underdog.
