Lone'er Kavanagh gets another opportunity to make a title shot claim against former title challenger Brandon Royval, and the oddsmakers like his chances.

Kavanagh (10-1, 3-1 UFC) took home a rare decision Performance of the Night award for his showing against former champion Brandon Moreno in February. The unanimous nod silenced the Mexico City crowd and elevated his stock to new highs.

Kavanagh or Royval?

While Kavanagh searches for his first title shot, Royval (17-9, 7-5 UFC) wants to earn a second. His first came at UFC 296, resulting in a decision loss to Alexandre Pantoja. Since then, Royval has gone 2-2, with both losses coming against Joshua Van and Manel Kape.

The odds opened to Kavanagh's advantage according to Caesars Sportsbook, Kavanagh is the favorite at -185, with Royval set as a +155 underdog.

A Looming Title Fight?

Will the 27-year-old Englishman prove himself worthy of a shot at the title if he overcomes Royval? UFC 329's second Main Card fight will be a key one in Kavanagh's career, with a potential win putting him at a 11-1 career record.
